A table game experience is only as good as the person hosting it. Our team understands both the technical aspects of each format and the social dynamics that make a group of guests feel at ease — whether they have played before or are approaching a table for the first time.

All of our experiences are fully managed, fully staffed and fully supported with premium equipment. We set up before guests arrive and clear away after they leave. Your role is simply to enjoy the evening.

The art of the considered decision

Poker creates a particular quality of attention in a room. It slows the evening down in the most pleasing way — drawing guests into focused, intimate engagement at the table while keeping the atmosphere warm and conversational. Unlike louder experiences, poker suits a refined gathering because it rewards presence and judgement over speed.

Our poker hosts manage the pace of the game, welcome new players mid-session and ensure the format remains accessible regardless of individual experience levels. The focus is on guest enjoyment rather than competitive rigour.

Our hosts manage the theatre of roulette instinctively — creating suspense, acknowledging individual moments and maintaining a steady, compelling energy throughout. It is the most group-oriented of our experiences, with multiple guests participating simultaneously and the energy of each round shared across the table rather than concentrated at individual positions.

Particularly effective in larger receptions where you want a high-energy focal point alongside more measured table formats, or as an opening experience to warm a room and bring guests together early in the evening.

Presentation & Setup

Premium equipment, quietly considered presentation

Our tables are presented to a standard that complements rather than competes with the surrounding occasion. Table cloth, chip sets, signage and dealing equipment are all selected to hold up in premium settings — whether that is a country house, a members club or a boutique hotel.

We do not use branded marketing materials on the tables. Everything is refined, unobtrusive and suited to the quality of the event it is part of.

Table Cloth & Layout

Professional green baize for poker and blackjack. Polished timber surrounds for roulette and dice. All formatted for correct play and comfortable reach.

Chips & Cards

Clay composite chips and playing cards. Roulette wheels are full size and appropriately weighted for visual impact.

Host Presentation

All hosts present in smart black attire with discreet St James Parlour identification. Presentation is clean, professional and suited to formal evening settings.
